Care and Maintenance Guide

To ensure your lighting fixture operates efficiently, safely, and lasts for years to come, please read and follow these instructions carefully.

Bulb Replacement Guidelines

To avoid burns, always turn off the power and allow the bulb to cool completely before replacing it.
Use only bulbs with the  wattage and specified type clearly indicated on the fixture label or packaging.
Do not use bulbs with a higher wattage than recommended. Overheating may occur, which can damage the fixture, shorten its lifespan, and create a fire or electric shock hazard.
If you are unsure which bulb to use, check the rating plate on the fixture or consult a qualified electrician.

Cleaning the Exterior (Glass, Shade, and Housing)

For routine dusting, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface.

For stubborn smudges or dirt, slightly dampen a soft cloth with clean water (wring it out thoroughly so it is not dripping) and wipe the glass and exterior surfaces.

Never use cleaners containing chemical solvents (e.g., alcohol, gasoline), strong acids/alkalis, or abrasive particles, as these may corrode the finish or scratch the surface.

Cleaning the Interior (Internal Glass and Reflective Surfaces)

Before cleaning the interior, you must disconnect power to the fixture — turn off the corresponding circuit breaker (switch) or remove the fuse from the fuse box to ensure complete safety.

Once power is off, open the fixture housing and use a soft, dry cloth to gently remove dust from inside.

For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen a soft cloth with clean water (wring it out well), carefully wipe the internal glass and reflective surfaces, then dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth to prevent water spots.

Make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the fixture and restoring power.

Prohibited Cleaners and General Precautions

Do not} use any of the following products on your fixture:

  • Chemical solvents (e.g., thinner, acetone, ammonia)
  • Strong acidic or alkaline cleaning agents
  • Abrasive powders or scrub pads (e.g., steel wool, scouring powder)
  • Use only a soft, dry cloth or a slightly water-dampened cloth for routine maintenance.

Avoid allowing any water to seep into the electrical components inside the fixture, as this may cause a short circuit.
If you notice unusual flickering, strange noises, or burning odors, stop using the fixture immediately and have it inspected by a qualified professional.
